Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl is an American actor, comedian, television host and is most well-known for hosting the renowned daytime chat show The Talk. She was raised by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. She was a troubled child. growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie who suffered from the disease of polio. When she was a kid, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl asserts that, in an instance when her mother stabbed her father after he became close to her. Sheryl when she graduated from college was drafted into the military. But, she was interested in the field of comedy. She was selected as the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. Her TV career started in 1992 as a actor on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she began participating on The Talk as co-host. Also, she appears in fictional roles on series such Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
